This patient has lymphoma (lymphosarcoma). There is dead bone from the cancer around the teeth causing the exposed tissue and severe pain.

Often oral pain can be eliminated merely by removing the tumor.


Oral Surgery In Dog - Lymphoma in Dogs

This is immediately postoperative. Analgesics hasten a return to normal. These patients feel better immediately upon waking thanks to nerve blocks used before the surgery.


Oral Cancer Treatment In Dog - Lymphoma in Dogs

This dog did excellent following the removal of the tumor, dead bone and dead teeth. This is several months postoperative.
